If you would like to help support our amazing staff during these difficult times, please call or e-mail the club office. We can charge your monthly statement for whatever amount you wish to give. All contributions will go directly to the staff that are affected during this time and is greatly appreciated!

Reopening: HARBOR

The Package Store remains open for beverages and fuel purchases. We ask that members continue to respect distancing guidance between you and the staff when fueling your boat. For a list of beers and wines offered in the Harbor, please visit the COVID-19 Info tab on the website. If you have an interest in the status of your boat, please call one of the numbers listed below and the Harbor will provide a status. The use of club equipment, excluding FJs, will be available on Wednesdays and Sundays only, and dinghies only on Thursdays. To reserve equipment and make your required reservation, please contact the club office. This is also to ensure you will have equipment available to you before arriving at the club. Members are also required to bring their own life jacket for use of club equipment.

Friday– Sunday 9am-6pm

Harbor Beer & Wine



The number of tables has been limited to comply with the state’s 50% occupancy guidance; therefore, reservations are required and the dress code will still be enforced. We cannot guarantee service if you do not have a reservation, even if there is an open table. Obviously, we will try to accommodate everyone, but we still have limited staffing.  Seating is limited to six (6) people per table.

For interior dining, members will enter through the normal entrance (east door of bar). The bar area will serve as a waiting area. All interior food service will take place upstairs. Please respect the roped off boundary of the bar. Orders can be placed in the bar and drinks will be served at a separate table. Please do not move tables or chairs.

All dining tables will be bare and cleaned after each use. Plastic ware and disposable plates will be used unless you order a steak. Condiments will be served in individual packets, upon request.

The cafe and bar staff will continue to wear face masks.

The servers are beginning to wait on the tables on the patio. Seating is limited to six (6) people per table. We have a limited number of tables so please do not move the tables or chairs. 

The Tiki Bar will be open. Again, please respect the roped off area and social distancing while ordering and picking up your drinks.

Smoking on the patio will be allowed only in the designated smoking area on the west side of the patio.

The patio staff will continue to wear face masks.  

Reopening: POOL

The pool will be open with limitations on occupancy. Due to these limits it will be open to members only. No guests allowed. Loungers will be spaced apart, please do not rearrange them. We will have specified cleaning times throughout the day. 

Hours of operation for the pool are as follows:

  • Open 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Closed for cleaning at 2:00
  • Open at approximately 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
  • Closed for cleaning at 5:00 pm
  • Open at approximately 5:30 pm to close

Members will be required to gather all of their belongings and exit the pool area during these specified cleaning times.

Reopening: SAILING

Wednesday night racing will begin with restrictions. Please see below section for specific details. Dinghy racing will begin on Thursday evenings and virtual racing will continue with an altered schedule. J/22 boats will be available for check out on Sundays only by reservation. Members must be on the J/22 checkout list. Please call the office to reserve a J/22 boat. (817) 236-8393

Wednesday Evening J/22 Quarantine Sailing

Regular club racing is still suspended due to COVID-19. The first phase of reopening Texas has made it possible for us to have some fun with the club J/22s before regular racing resumes. So starting this Wednesday, Fort Worth Boat Club will be hosting Wednesday Evening J/22 Quarantine Sailing! Here’s how to participate:

  • To reserve a boat, e-mail Conner Fullerton at Reservations will be accepted starting Monday morning.
  • Check out boat & sails from club personnel
  • Double-handed only, main & jib only, respecting social distancing advisories as much as practicable.
  • Access to interior is restricted to emergency use only; interiors will be closed and sealed with breakaway plastic padlock seals
  • First race will start 1830
  • Two races each evening
  • Participants will be responsible for returning sails back to the sail locker
  • HAVE FUN!!!

We will be keeping score, but this will be its own series and will not affect the scoring of the regular FWBC J/22 Wednesday Night Series.

Reopening: JUNIORS

Based on the guidelines set by the Texas Governor, we are able to operate with groups of 4 kids per 1 coach. This is in addition to the social distancing structure we gave set forth for the FWBC Jr. Program. To participate in practice, you must RSVP 24 hours in advance to Coach Scott at Youth classroom activity will continue to be conducted thru Zoom. If you are not signed up for the program, there will be a $20 charge per practice, per child.

Guidelines for Junior Practice:

  • Practices will start on time. Please be rigged and ready at posted start time.
  • Kids will stay 6 feet apart at all times, especially when rigging.
  • All meetings will occur outside with the 6 foot social distancing protocol.
  • All kids are encouraged to wear a face buff at all times.
  • Kids will wash and sanitize their hands upon arrival.
  • No child will be allowed to practice if sick or showing symptoms of sickness if any kind.
  • Kids will rig and sail directly to marker “E” where practice drills will start.
  • Upon arrival back to the dock, kids will de-rig and head directly to parents car.

Reopening: OFFICE

We are encouraging members to make their monthly payments online. For assistance making a payment or concerns about your bill, please call or e-mail the office. If you must bring a check by, please drop it in the mailbox outside the office as our door will remain locked to limit our employee’s exposure.
