Welcome Junior Sailors!
Welcome Junior Sailors! We are proud to continue the tradition of hosting this year’s Jr. Ol’ Man of the Sea Regatta. We hope to make you feel at home and that you enjoy your stay at the Fort Worth Boat Club. Please see below some instructions and recommendations regarding this event. TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP CARDS:
Each racer’s family will be given a temporary membership card with their name and visiting club. A credit card will be kept on file following your registration and will be charged following the event. Access to the restaurant, fuel dock, swimming pool, and any other services of the club are welcome providing the exhibition of the Temporary Membership cards. Racers will be issued a wristband following registration. This wristband shall be worn throughout the event. If possible, please call the office prior to the event to set up your temporary membership.
MEALS:
Participants wearing a wristband are entitled to the following meals:
- Saturday
- Breakfast 0800‐0930
- Lunch on the Water as per RC
- Dinner & Pool Party 1730
- Sunday
- Breakfast 0800‐0900
- Lunch on the Water as per RC
BOAT LAUNCHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Lasers / 420s / FJs
Please launch and recover your boats from the boat ramp on the East side of the Harbor.
Optimist Dinghies
Green / Red / White / Blue Fleet please launch and recover your boats from the ramp off of the lawn area in front of the swimming pool, to the right of the junior dock.
FUEL:
Tickets for fuel will be available at the Harbor. The fuel ticket will be charged to your temporary membership card. Gas will be available every day at the fuel dock next to the boat launching ramp between the hours of 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.
INTERNET:
Internet is available at the club for free. Please ask for instructions in the office.
