The Fort Worth Boat Club invites you and your crew to the Ol’ Man of the Sea Regatta, November 1 – 3, 2019
Fort Worth Boat Club cordially invites you to attend the FWBC 2019 Ol’ Man of the Sea Regatta to be held on Eagle Mountain Lake November 1 – 3, 2019.
The Fort Worth Boat Club is the host club. Fort Worth Boat Club is a private yacht club, located on Eagle Mountain Lake at 10000 Boat Club Road, Fort Worth, TX 76179. Location and directions can be found on our club website (www.fwbc.com) as well as information about our club and facilities that are available to the competitors. Please note that pets as well as fireworks are not allowed on club property. TABC REGULATIONS: The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission requires that no alcoholic beverages be brought in or taken out of the area prominently marked with TABC signs. Registration can be completed online at yachtscoring.com.
RULES:
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing, and the class rules of the applicable one-design classes
CLASSES:
The regatta is open to all boats with a valid FWBC PHRF rating. One-design classes may be declared for fleets with three (3) or more entries. robable one-design classes include J/105, J/70, J/22, Santana 35, Beneteau First 36.7. A Cruising Fun Fleet may be formed for boats interested in casual racing. Boats not sailing in one-design class fleets will be scored using the FWBC PHRF time-on-distance handicapping system.
ENTRY:
Eligible boats may enter by completing the registration form on yachtscoring.com and paying the required registration fee. Registration URL: https://yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eid=9690
ENTRY FEE:
The Registration Fee for this regatta is $100 (US) payable at the time of registration.
TROPHIES:
Trophies will be awarded according to the number of boats in a class, determined by the regatta committee.

HARBOR:
A three-ton (5,500 pound max.) crane with spreader and straps is available for launching and retrieval. A concrete launching ramp and two mast towers are also available. Please let us know if you will need the crane.
