YOUTH PROGRAMS & SUMMER CAMPS

Our club offers youth programs 12 months out of the year! Our ever-popular Summer Sailing Camps continue to grow with more kids each year finding a passion for sailing and being on the lake. These camps are a great way to introduce new sailors to the sport while also serving as an opportunity for new friendships and summer memories kids wont soon forget.

Spring, fall and winter programs provide sailors the opportunity to practice and refine their skills as well as compete in regattas regionally, nationally, and internationally while learning from the best. Our youth instructors are US Sailing certified with long lists of accomplishments and countless hours on the water. Just check out our Junior Sailing Director, Scott Lindley's, bio! Kids travel from out of state to be coached by him!

HIGH SCHOOL SAILING

High School sailing closely parallels the collegiate sailing format and all teams training in the local area are a part of the Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA). This region is a part of the South East Interscholastic Sailing Association (SEISA). High School sailing is a co-ed sport mostly conducted in double handed boats, Flying Juniors (FJ's) and C420's, with some single handed laser sailing.

Fort Worth Boat Club hosts Nolan Catholic High School's Sailing Program in the spring and fall semesters. Boats and coaching are provided to the sailors and practices are structured around their school schedule.
