Fort Worth Boat Club dives into 2024 with an exciting line up of events this spring

While the weather may be chilly, social events are heating up at Fort Worth Boat Club! We are proud to present a packed social schedule for the month of February that offers events for all: from couples, kids, and families, to sailing crews and gal pals. Mardi Gras Happy Hour | February 9th

New Orleans is coming to Eagle Mountain Lake! Join us for a Mardi Gras Happy Hour on February 9th from 6-8pm! Celebrate in style with live music, drink specials, King Cake, and a low-country crawfish special prepared by Chef Michael. Don't miss this opportunity to indulge in the flavors of this iconic celebration. Mark your calendars and get ready to let the good times roll.

Yoga at the Club | February 11th

After celebrating Mardi Gras, you may find your body is in need of some relaxation. Start your day right with a yoga session from 10 am to 11 am on February 11th. This health and wellness event is complimentary for our valued members. Don't forget to bring your yoga mat! While this is a complimentary event, reservations are preferred! Super Bowl Watch Party | February 11th

Don't miss out on the Super Bowl showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers on February 11th.

Be there to cheer on your favorite team and enjoy an unforgettable night of football, friends, and game day specials.

Annual Sailing Awards | February 10th

Champions & Chalices, Where the Wind meets the Wheat.

You're invited to join us at Fort Worth Boat Club on Saturday, February 10th at 5pm, for the return of the Annual Sailing Awards! This special evening is dedicated to honoring the achievements of our sailors and supporters, celebrating their triumphs throughout the year. Don't miss this opportunity to come together and recognize their outstanding contributions!

Come prepared with your quirkiest cup, grandest goblet, or most outlandish urn, because this year, you can fill them up with complementary beer or your favorite fountain drink - no questions asked! 🍻

Dad & Daughter Dance | February 16th

Calling all dads and daughters of Fort Worth Boat Club! Join us on February 16th, 2024 at 6:30 pm, for a Dad & Daughter Dance!

Share a dinner with options like honey pecan chicken breast, tenderloin pepper steak, mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, chicken tenders, tater tots, mixed greens salad, rolls, and cupcakes for dessert.

Pricing for this event is $25++ for dad, $12++ for daughter.

Galentine's Day Happy Hour | February 16th

While dad is spending some quality time with daughter, head down to the Regatta Bar to partake in some drinks and girl time! This Galentine's Happy Hour is at the same time as Dad and Daughter Dance, February 16th at 6:30 pm, so the whole family can spend some time at the club! This event is come-and-go and reservations are not required.

New Zealand Wine Tasting | February 25th

Join us for a Wine Tasting event, featuring a curated selection of New Zealand's finest wines. From the crisp Sauvignon Blancs to the smooth notes of Pinot Noir, you're sure to discover a new favorite.

Each wine will be perfectly paired with gourmet bites designed to enhance your tasting experience.

This event is priced at $30++ per person. Spaces are limited, so be sure to RSVP and secure your glass!

Recap: Wine Fest 2024

We had a blast at our first ever Wine Fest 2024! We sold an impressive 49 cases of wine, thanks to the support of our amazing members.

Chef Michael created an exceptional culinary experience with the tenderloin carving station, charcuterie board, and duck wontons. The flavors perfectly complemented the 19 tasting options available.

A special thanks to Ashley Austin from Delicato Family Vineyards, Austin Ziegler from Riboli Family Wines, and Garrett Reeves from RNDC for their support in making this event a success.

Congratulations to Kim & Brad Belton, Tammy & Tommy Micallef, and grand prize winners Robin & Jim Mitchell! We hope to see an even bigger turnout on February 25th!

Trivia Night | February 29th

On February 29th, get ready for a night filled with fun facts and friendly competition at our upcoming Trivia Night!

Assemble your team of brainiacs to test your knowledge on a wide range of topics. Enjoy great food and the chance to win exciting prizes!

Team check-in is at 6:30 and trivia begins at 7! Don't have a team or have never been to a Trivia Night at FWBC? Come on out and we will get you settled.

Recap: January Trivia Night

Trivia Night is a beloved tradition here at Fort Worth Boat Club, and we were thrilled to see such a great turnout at our first Trivia Night of 2024! Teams went head to head to win awesome prizes and bragging rights for a month.

Chef Michael stunned with a delicious mac and cheese bar. We dined, sipped, and Martin and Alicia P. and the Van Zanten family came out victorious!

We hope to see you at February's Trivia Night... you may even leave a winner.
