...and there's more coming up to finish up the month! Keep scrolling.
We have to take a moment to celebrate Martin & Alicia Peacey for their success in coordinating yet another fantastic Regatta at FWBC. The Race Committee and Entertainment Committee, along with their army of volunteers, did it once again with a fun and memorable event - which takes months of planning.
Larry McCracken & Jason Adams acted as Principal Race Officers over the weekend and we thank you both for running a smooth regatta in challenging conditions. No wind, strange wind, lots of wind and rain....
Heather Smith and Coach Cody had a packed court for our Annual Regatta Pickle Ball Tournament. Congratulations to our participants and to Rob Karov & Bobby Brendza for being our 1st place dinkers.
On Friday (4/28) we have our Beginners Pickle Ball Clinic from 6:00 - 8:00pm. A reminder that it's open play starting at 7:00pm so everyone can join in (beginner or advanced). Please note the forecast calls for strong storms starting around 4:00pm on Friday. We will be monitoring the weather and will post a cancellation via Email and Facebook if we need to reschedule.
On Saturday (4/29) we have the Moonlight Social, the Flower Moon. The Patio Raft Up will begin at 6:30pm and the sunset is 8:10pm. Come out to meet some fellow sailors and get an invitation to go out to sail under the moonlit sky. Although technically a race, this is a great way to "test the waters" with no experience and to learn more about sailing opportunities. Gather your crew and bring everyone out!
Try something new and join us this Saturday evening!
