We had a wonderful time celebrating the Easter Holiday with everyone and we thank you all for making us apart of such a special holiday. Fort Worth Boat Club continues to shine with amazing events put on by some of the greatest volunteers. We had our first pickle ball tournament which was a huge hit so look forward to the next one at the Annual Regatta. It was eggs galore with two Easter egg hunts over the weekend. We had light but perfect conditions for our Race to the Eggs on Saturday. An armada of floating vessels stormed Eagle Mountain Lake in search of floating eggs. Once they returned to shore everyone walked away with some sort of prize, treat, or even Oreo.
Behind the scenes you'll see various committees working together to make these events memorable. There are also many "non-committees" who just do what they do to get kids out on the water with a smile on their face. There was no shortage of happy faces last weekend.
