March is already here and we are excited to announce another full social calendar for this month, including some brand new events as well as classic FWBC favorites. With spring on the horizon, we are looking forward to even more sailing, socializing, and savory bites here at Fort Worth Boat Club. Magic Night | March 9th
Things are getting MAGICAL here at FWBC on March 9th from 7-9pm! Talented magician, Ritchy Flo, will be putting on a magic show for FWBC members complete with close-up magic and mind reading! Yoga at the Club | March 10th
Make some healthy new habits this spring by joining us for Yoga at the Club on Sunday, March 10th. Bring your mat and enjoy the picturesque views of Eagle Mountain Lake (if Texas weather allows!) as we find true zen through the art of yoga. This class is open to all, whether you're a seasoned yoga professional, or just starting out. RSVP through the link below!
Game Night | March 13th
Swing by Fort Worth Boat Club for a thrilling night of board games, card games, or any other game you're a pro at! Bring your favorite games on March 13th at 6:30pm and hangout with us in the Commodore Room with drinks, appetizer specials, and friendly competition. Reserves aren't required but preferred, give the club a call today to snag yours!
St. Patrick's Day Happy Hour | March 17th
Feeling the luck of the Irish? St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and it's time to celebrate! Swing by the Regatta Bar on March 17th starting at 6pm for a St. Patrick's Day celebration complete with appetizers, green drink specials, and decorations that would make any leprechaun jump for joy! Reservations not required but always accepted, call or email the club today to grab a spot!
Trivia Night | March 28th
Show off your smarts at our March Trivia Night on Thursday, March 28th! These are a club favorite, so if you haven't experienced a FWBC Trivia Night, you're missing out. We're offering drink and menu service while questions are flying, so get your stomach and brain ready. We hope to see you!
Easter Brunch | March 31st
Believe it or not, Easter is on the way and we've got a jam packed day planned! Join us for Easter Brunch on Easter Sunday, March 31st, complete with buffets, carafe specials, Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, and of course, a visit from the Easter Bunny! February Recap
We had a fun-filled February with lots of hustle and bustle around the club despite rapidly changing temperatures! We kicked off February with a Mardi Gras extravaganza! Check out the festivities below courtesy of members Bip & Bernie Nauta.
We then jumped into the season of love and celebrated Valentine's Day with a intimate and delicious dinner. Chef Michael really outdid himself this time, serving a lobster and veil chop entrée that was to die for! Member Camille Barraza snapped a gorgeous sunset picture that truly captured the essence of the evening.
There is no other love like that between a father and daughter, and we saw just that at our Dad & Daughter Dance! With a buffet, DJ, and sweets, this was a night to remember for our dads and daughters of Fort Worth Boat Club!
Finally, we closed out the year with another great wine tasting. This time around we featured some vineyards all the way from New Zealand! We want to thank Quarter Acre vineyards, Wildsong vineyards, and Borthwick vineyards for coming out to see us! It was a delicious night filled with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and great company.
We can't wait for another great month of social events in March and look forward to seeing our members out at the club as we move into springtime and more sunshine!
