Sailing Club Regatta Funds

Help the Sailing Club get enough funds to travel and compete in SEISA regattas!

The TCU Sailing Club is looking to attend as many regattas as possible in the spring semester. For each regatta, we will need funds for travel and hotel rooms. In addition, there is a one-time enrollment fee which will allow us to attend any of the regattas in our league. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to participate in at least two regattas this semester.

Hello! My name is Theresa Khoury and I currently serve as the vice president of the TCU Sailing Club. I hope to have the opportunity to compete in as many regattas as possible before I graduate in May.

Where will the money go?

We are planning to attend two regattas this semester: one local and one travel. The travel regatta will be at Tulane in New Orleans on April 9-10. This regional regatta would be a wonderful opportunity for our team to compete and interact with almost all of the SEISA teams. Traveling to New Orleans will be our biggest expense this semester, so we are hoping to raise enough money to get us there.

Our total fundraising goal is $3,400. The breakdown of the funds we hope to receive is as follows:

→ SEISA Regatta Fee - $300

→ Tulane Regatta - $2,600

- Each Regatta - $2000 (flight) + $600 (Hotel Rooms)

→ TCU Pinnies (Jerseys) - $500
